Rare Species Fund brings new LIGERS to meet some of the kids from 5000 Role Models at Jungle Island Park in Miami along with SANTA CLAUS.

The Rare cream colored liger cubs are the first ever born from a huge White Male African Lion named Ivory and a Snow white Bengal Tiger named Saraswati who are some of the amazing wildlife ambassadors in residence at Jungle Island.

The Kids as well as the cubs had a great time with each other and Santa Claus.

5000 Role Models of Excellence was Founded by then Miami-Dade County School Board Member Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, U.S. House of Representatives - District 24 (FL). The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project was initiated by the Miami-Dade County School Board in March 1993, due to the realization that there is an ongoing crises in the lives of many young males. The project's mission is to intervene in the lives of at-risk boys, in order to provide them with alternatives that will lead them away from a life of crime and violence.
